Weidmüller’s recently announced new crimping tools and cable lugs for large cross-sections include both tubular cable lugs (Euro series) for 0.5 mm2 to 300 mm2 and compression cable lugs (DIN series) from 0.5 mm2 to 300 mm2, various crimp inserts, as well as crimping tools for cables with large cross-sections.

The crimping tools cover diverse areas of application and user requirements. They extend from the EPG 45 electro-hydraulic battery-powered crimping tool (with a pressing force of 45 kN) for processing cable lugs and connectors measuring 6 mm² to 150 mm², the APG 55 electro-hydraulic battery-powered crimping tool (up to 240 mm2), the HPG 55 hydraulic crimping tool (up to 240 mm2), the APG 80 electro-hydraulic battery-powered crimping tool (up to 300 mm2) and the HPG 80 hydraulic hand crimping tool (up to 300 mm2), to the AKT 50 battery-powered cable cutter (with a diameter measuring 50 mm2), as well as battery chargers and replacement rechargeable batteries.
