Compact 1 and 2 CO contact relays with robust, inudstrialised plug-in pins.

In an industrial environment, service work needs to be carried out quickly, simply and reliably. Increasingly compact cabinets and miniaturised components in confined spaces are becoming a challenge for all users. As soon as components need to be replaced, the concealed relay contacts often cause errors which are difficult to locate. This is not the case with our new compact DRI relays, with their robust, industrialised plug-in pins, which accelerate both installation and service in confined spaces.

The ease of handling of components is also becoming increasingly important, which is why the new DRI relays use particularly stable plug-in pins which prevent bending when connecting and disconnecting and thus ensure quick and safe installation. The test button with end position can be operated without tools, so manipulation can be reliably identified, which helps both installation and service work. A highly visible, LED-lit display also makes quick and clear status identification possible.

The DRI relays offer a variable connection: bases with different screw connection systems are already available for different regional requirements and conditions. Clearly legible product labels and colour coding of the user-friendly test button allows simple error reduction and reduces errors during installation and service.

Typical applications for DRI relays include control cabinets and plant engineering, where compact and robust switch technology is used for switch and load coupling between the controller and the field level. During cabinet installation and subsequent servicing, DRI relays are the perfect coupling elements for confined spaces: whether in gravel works or in wind power plants – anywhere where relays move as a function of their application and stable, reliable connections are required. Together with the test button, which is easy to operate by hand, and the quick status identification thanks to the generous LED illumination, the new DRI relays are a perfect solution.

Weidmüller DRI relays are available in two versions: 1 CO contact, AC/DC coil and 2 CO contacts, AC/DC coil. Both have a latching/momentary operable test button with coloured control voltage identification (AC coil: red / DC coil: blue), a mechanical switch position display (for version with test button), a brightly-lit status LED (AC coil red / DC coil green) and a catch diode.

The new 1 and 2 CO contact relays are suitable for the following control voltages: DC: 12V, 24V, 48V, 110V; AC: 24V,115V, 230V. The contact data is 1CO 10A@230Vac; 2CO 5A@230Vac.

Among the accessories for the DRI relays which can be ordered from the factory is a socket with a logical design, i.e. the input and output connections are on opposite sides. The sockets also have a terminal unlock system using a screwdriver and, last but not least, an extensive range of function modules.

D-SERIES DRI relays have the following approvals and certifications: cURus, CE and TÜV. DRI relays are an extension to the D-SERIES, which offers a range of industrial relays for loads of up to 400 V / 30 A with coils from 5 V DC … 380 V AC.
